so ive had the 4runner for almost a month now and have noticed, being that we finally had a few days worth of sun, that on the door panels the paint looks kinda cloudy, hazy when compared to the rest of the vehicle that has that pearl sparkly shine to it...any ideas? did the dealer, when detailing it, not get all the wax off...though to the touch those areas are incredibly smooth!?

Sounds like we have the same garbage going on. I tried claybaring my car, awhile back, but I don't think it did anything. Then again, it was my first time, so maybe I'm just inept. I just tried not noticing it, and it worked... I completely forgot all about it! until you resurfaced my painful memories...thanks... yeah... haha, I will check later today if its still there!

maybe claybar is worth a shot...today i washed it w/meguiars gold and it was still there after drying w/chamois...so i had some meguiars quik wax and tried that thinking it may be some old residue as stated in my first post...did nothing. im not happy being that its less than a month old to us.
