reading through this after a year and a half, i feel like finishing mine. I guess its time to dust off my user name and get back on here. Just ordered a new part for the turbo. Now all I need is a scavenge pump and oil lines. I am still wondering how that rear bumper turned out.

We are still slacking on getting the bumpers done. Lol.

Still alive. Paddle shift is doing great, still use it everyday. I'll be around.

How do you have the other end plumbed up? -4 AN fitting on the other end of the hardline? I think I remember reading that you restricted your turbos. Maybe I need to re-read this entire thread.

I use restricted oil feed flanges, cheaper, easier and one piece.

Turbo build

Hey Clownmeat. Sent you a message but not sure if it went through. I wanted to ask if you would be interested in putting in a kit on my 97 4runner? I am out of Salt Lake City and could travel down. I am looking for more power and of course the uniqueness of having the only turbo 3rd gen around, and am trying to avoid upgrading to 4th gen. If this is a possibility or if you might know anyone reasonably close to utah that could fab one up message me. Thx so much

Thanks! I imagine you are referring to the paddle shift part as geeky. It was, and is so much fun. The turbo and other stuff was just a product of boredom.

It's hard to see out the back with the spare tire there, so I put in a rear view mirror with a backup camera.
