Clownmeat's build thread

Always loved this build, though anyone who loves the snow and cold scares me.

Beautiful state Idaho is sans the brutal winter months.

@ OP,

I checked out your build thread at first just because
of the original and somewhat warped username.
However, the technical and mechanical skills are strong with this one they call 'Clownmeat'.

VERY inpressive.

Clownmeat = mugencrxpro? If so, did you sell it? I've got one too, but mine is only 49% done. [Houseman] body on, ready for paint and re-assembly.

Got some pics of underneath?

Here is a pic and a video.

Twin Falls.

Cool! That was one of the places my wife wanted to see, "The Niagra of the West"... Needless to say I was pretty disappointed, haha...

We went out to the falls there and walked the trail around the upper lake. Short, easy hike but had some good views. Then we poked around down at the area where everyone takes pictures for a bit.

We had lunch at Anchor Bistro & Sports Bar and headed back west. While there I saw what I think was a glacier metallic 3rd gen with fiberglass fenders and a pretty wide stance roll by... I don't know if he was long travel or not, but looked like he was ready for it.

Hey man, love the build! I plan on copy cutting your turbo build soon. Just need to collect a few more parts. Was curious how exactly you wired up your turbo timer. Is it only running the pump, and if so how?

Also came across what apears to be a new inline filter. The spectre 9831, comes with a sealed box, and apparently a 700 cfm rating, just in case your anyone else are interested.

wow. Just spent the entire day at work reading this whole thread and it's only 3 or 4 major mods! Dude, you are aweosme...keep up the awesome work

Just did the same thing, subbing looking to buy a new Taco in a few months but I have a love for the 3.4 so if I can find a low mileage double cab off road 4wd will buy it instead and do remote mount turbo similar but with bed mounts snorkel. I actually have a garret t3/4 that needs a rebuild and it has .63 so already have that and have a turbo smart oil pump from previous rear mount so really would just need piping and hoses.... Believe it or not your thread may be the motivational factor to go older rather than new! I prefer older but wife wants newer as I change vehicles like shoes in the past.

Thanks for the build and only way I would do the tranny mods is if you sold it, issue there is the a340e itself is only around 300 from a years so how much would you charge for the box and let people self source their own paddles? I would consider it and have buddies that are watching this thread now as well.

Anyway, awesome job and did you move from Ohio to Idaho during the course of this or did I read that wrong?
