Dont be that guy, turbo spooling through your neighborhood just to get your turbo timer to work. Ive had turbocharged vehicles for over 15 years making over 400whp and never once spent money on a turbo timer. Keeping it slow in your 25mph neighborhood is all the turbo timer you need. Doesnt madder if turbo is water and or oil cooled.
Doesn't apply here. I use the turbo timer to run the scavenge pump for one minute after the truck is shut off, not to let the turbo cool down.

I registered today to say this is one bad ass build thread. I am about to get my hands on a v6 3.4 tacoma and was looking to find ways to add a little more power w/o breaking the bank. Some google searching, led me here.
I'm glad your 4runner has lasted this long and has taken you places.
