My 1999 has been having clutch issues. When It's cold it's works fine but the longer I drive the harder it is to select gears. Especially 1st gear. I replaced the master and slave cylinders but the problem is back. Anyone had a similar problem?
When cold the peddle works normally.
Does it shift fine in other gears after first? Is clutch fluid full...maybe change it out...might have some air in it that moves around when you use it. May have a bad clutch cylinder or it needs adjusted. Usually the adjustment is only the pedal on hydraulic clutches.
If your going into other gears first and then it will go into 1st that is the synchro's lining it up. Why I asked if other gears shift fine. If they all shift fine but one...that is a tranny problem.

It comes and goes. with the engine off all the gear shift fine. It is most noticeable in 1st dues to the pedal high changing. I replaced the master and slave clutch cylinder. It seemed to work fine for a day or so then has began to return. I can attempt to re-bleed the slave and see. It just seems to be heat related.
