Clutch master cylinder bleed

For those of you that have replaced your slave or master cylinders. Do you go through the process of bench bleeding or do you just fill it and pump the clutch?

Fill and pump the clutch.

Neither. Put a long clear hose on the bleeder, and sucked on it till it was bled. No pumping, no bench bleeding, no air bubbles.
Master and slave were both new.

when i replaced my master cylinder, I had to pump and bleed maybe 5 times at the slave valve. was not hard and took maybe 5 minutes. Simple and effective
