Know a person that has an 86 4runner 2.4l my husband was tryin to help this person at work last nite with his clutch sc. They got it bled seemed to be okay but after it sat at work all nite he had no clutch pedal. Decompressed over about 8 or so hrs. They say that there are no leaks, that he changed his mc a couple months ago and no air in line until it lost pressure sitting over nite. Told him that it could be gasket on the mc cap or a defective sc. Just want to make sure that going off of what they told me (since I'm not there looking at it myself) I'm not missing anything. I did also tell them to double check the connection at the pedal lever. But with that suggestion I got a look like I'm crazy and told that the pedal doesn't attach to this sc like in other vehicle cause it doesn't sit at the firewall. Is there anything I'm missing I figured that its not a line since they are saying that there is no leaks anywhere since replacing the old sc.
