Great build! I am a huge fan of the cement color. I'm subscribing to follow your build the whole way through.

Would you mind sharing exactly what model led you purchased for your fog lights? Did you just replace the bulb or the lens too? Thank you in advance.

Thanks man, I appreciate it!

For the fog lights, I wanted something that I can still use on-road anytime as well, without being too bright......so for now I have the yellow Philips bulbs, which I bought through Xenon Depot, as well as yellow Lamin-X lens covers.

VERY nice looking build!

Too funny how many of us on t4r are Arc'teryx fans - definitely my favorite for outgear...just haven't gotten past the "to sticker, or not to sticker..." my 4Runner yet (I have a 1 gallon ziplock bag filled with stickers and vinyl decals from my build and various trips/adventures).

I just finished the Safari snorkel install, and it all went pretty smoothly! I don't think my wife likes it too much, but I love it!

Don't know that I would ever drive anything but black...but this cement color is freaking gorgeous!!!

Enjoying the build so far. Did you have any issues with the tires rubbing the fender or body mount once you installed the spidertrax? Any other issues with the spacers?

I've gotten the body mounts chopped on both of my 4Runners, as well as mud flap removal/fender liner mod ect.

Other than that, No issues at all, and I have Spidertrax on both 4Runners...No regrets.

Great build it looks awesome ! Man I'd love to add a snorkel but I've already been on several trails that most likely would've damaged or literally torn one off due to the crazy dense brush I've had to push forward through (I have MANY scratches along the upper 1/3 of my rig from the A-pillar back) curious, do you plan on doing many deep water crossings ?

Thanks brother! It's good to have the extra protection in deep water situations (just in case), but I hope to avoid deep water crossings when possible.

I got the snorkel simply for the cleaner/cooler air, and the fact that I think it looks sweet!

I joke with my wife about getting another 4runner just like mine. She drives it any chance she gets so now I have proof its not crazy haha. Nice looking pair.
Where in DFW are you located?

Haha, Thanks man. I'm down here in Burleson.

Viper, did you need extended rear bump stops to keep the tires from hitting the fender when stuffed at full articulation with the 285s? Thanks.

Tactikool, I have not extended the rear bump stops on either 4Runner.

Keep in mind, I just got this 2017 4Runner, but on my 2015 with a similar suspension/tire set-up, I never had an issue.

I recently switched the C4 Fab sliders from my wife's 4Runner, over to my new one.

So around Thanksgiving I ordered her the Expedition One sliders, and just installed them tonight..

Are those the powdercoat option Expedition Ones? I've been trying to figure out if their powdercoating includes the steps or not.

Yes sir...I had them do the powdercoating...The bolt on steps I believe are stainless steel. I'm undecided on if I will keep them bare or get them powdercoated as well.

Thank you. I really like the design of the sliders but don't like the uncoated steps. Good to know they could be removed and coated after the fact.

Loving your build so far! Just out of curiosity, what do you have up on your gobi rack behind the maxtrax? I have the same setup you have, but was wondering what im going to put back there (Storage boxes, etc).

Icon Stage 3

So I'm the proud owner of a new TRD Premium as of this past Saturday. I've been lurking around trying to learn as much as I can. My question to you is: What led you to the Icon, specifically the Stage 3. I can't discern when to get off the 'stage train'; 1-7. Why was Stage 3 the one you chose?

First, sweet truck.
Second, kind of off topic question but just wondering what's the height of your garage door? I know its a weird question but just want to see if my 4runner will fit with inside my garage with a Gobi rack and yakima ski rack. Pretty much your set up. I am thinking about placing a order of the rack but I am worried that the truck will be too tall.
