Coastal Off Road Update

I welded up front and rear Coastal bumpers for my trip in March. I ordered a dual swing out for the rear. I needed to add a winch so the Coastal kits seemed to be the best price option since I already own a 240VAC welder. I selected both front and rear optional lights from them also. Don't buy their lights they are junk. After the first 50 miles I had condensation inside. I did email Coastal with this same picture but they chose to not respond. What I ended up doing as you can see is taking the assemblies apart, drying out the inside and cleaning up the corrosion (yes after 50 miles) and reassembling with silicone sealant. Even the connector pins corroded! Complete junk that I am stuck with now. I do have to say that the harness kits that come with the lights make for an easy install since they come with the switch and power relay. The bumper kits are very well put together and the welding went smooth with no real issues. Oh, before I forget, don't order their receiver hitch, they avoid rating it for a reason, because it's also junk. If you ignore the lights and hitch issue I am very happy with the kits and recommend them to anyone who wants a lower cost option (with a welder).
