they seem to have good reviews but i dont like the setup personally. i just went with the 19dxiv and a super clean install, really like it.

i hope they are fine, lol, just ordered mine two days ago, haha..
i run with a tri-band hand held HAM for my proper comms, i get 30~40 miles without even trying....plus listening to police channels as your driving down the freeway can save you a few speeding tickets...

i bought the cb just for running in trail groups and to comm within sight sort of thing, i also didn't want some little box taking up more room in my cab or under my feet. i wanted small and easy to stow....so it was a toss up between the cobra 75 or the Midland 75-822 , i liked the idea of the midland but really see no extra point in a hand held/removable CB as again the range and limitations imo makes cb's nothing more than a glorified walkie talkie gmsr type radio, which in some cases can actually out perform a cb...day time noise...i really see no sense in investing much money,space,time or effort in a cb setup, don't get me wrong they are a must have for trail runs but i'm not really concerned with trying to get much range out of it....
