I'm driving and all of a sudden I get codes 24 and 51.
Truck quirks:
When first starting out, the car will suddenly lose power through a certain range of the accelerator pedal being depressed, until the accelerator pedal reaches a certain point at which point it will lunge into full throttle operation.
The cruise control stopped working the day before I got these codes, and a week before that had been clicking loudly when engaging.
I have had to jumper the top two connectors in the diagnostic box to have the fuel pump always on when the ignition is on. Without this jumpered, the car wont start when the engine is warm.
Any ideas?
1990 22RE with an air flow meter not the sensor, this one uses the old style gate.
