Code Alarm Remote lost

Hi all,

I lost my Code Alarm remote for my 97 4Runner Limited. I called several dealerships and none of them carry the remote anymore.

Where can I get a replacement? One dealership mentioned they can reprogram a new remote for me for free, but I just don't know where to get the remote.

It was the simple black remote with two rubber buttons side by side, one to unarm and and one to arm.

Code Alarm Lost

If you are talking about the remote lock/unlock/rear window fob, then EBAY sells them all the time. Just do a search on the year, make and model and then click on "accessories" when the search is done. I have seen tons of these remotes on Ebay and they SHOULD come with programming instructions. If not, write back and I can send them to you. Good Luck!

Thanks for the information.

I was able to locate a remote from remotesunlimited.com. I bought two just in case and it did come with the instructions to program the remote.

I think I am all set!
