Whats everyones thoughts on aftermarket coil packs and wires? Amazon seems to have some cheap ENA brand packs but Im not real comfortable buying them even though they are fairly inexpensive. Should I stick with OEM or does anyone here have experience with these cheaper packs, or thoughts on other brands that have proved worthy?

OEM doesn't fail to often, mind you they are getting pretty old now, there is a pretty simple testing procedure in the FSM, might be wise to heat the coil up while doing tests to see if temp is effecting the results. Also replacement boots or pull the boot off testing without boots might be wise aswell before replacing the coil(s). Dunno if I would bother with aftermarket here, if I had to I would go with a local parts place.
I just changed my original Sumitomo 1999 wires, and put OEM sumitomo 2020 wires back on, no change runs as good as always if that's any testament. I like that they mfg date them, so NGK or sumitomo OEM, the Sumitomo Wires fit a LOT better than the NGK's I put on my other truck.

Got NGK coil packs myself. Not a complaint about them - in other words, they work. Picked them up for no other reason than they were the only ones in stock at my local auto parts store. I wouldn't overthink it, if the reviews are good then why not get it? Not like you're gonna notice a dip in HP.
The irony about aftermarket parts is there's a ton of stuff that's aftermarket to some people, but it's made by an OE manufacturer to others. Like Denso. Obviously I wouldn't advise picking up something from someone like Moog, but when it comes to Denso, NGK, etc - I feel like it's a safe assumption to say if they can make a sparkplug, then they can probably make the things meant to fire the sparkplug.

Three 4Runners and two failed coils. Each bad coil was a generic cheep coil. I have a stash of used coils and they are OEM or Denso.
I use the mag core wires.
