Coilover mounting question

Hey there,

Quick and pretty silly question here, do I need any sort of rubber isolator when mounting coilovers, like for regular coil springs? Or do they mount, metal-to-metal, to the spring bucket? I have icon coilovers that I am getting ready to mount.

Front front coilover shock assembly is always metal to metal on the top side, even stock. The coil isolator (rubber) is on the under side of the top hat.
