Cold Cobra

I have a Viper Remote Start installed on my 2001 that won't start if the temperature dips below 40 (which is when it is the most useful) but cranks right up when I get in and use my key. Has anybody else dealt with this? Possible problems/solutions?

Does it try to turn over when you use the remote start and then just won't start or it doesn't do anything? You might need to change the crank time setting so that it turns longer.

Yeah it turns over for about 10 seconds and will try about two or three different times before giving up. But if I get in and turn it over with the key it fires right up.
