So its starting to get pretty cold out and i just experienced something a little weird with my 4runner. When i shifted into drive i expected it to start moving, at least a little just from idling, but it didn't. So i gave it some gas and it grabbed and sort of jerked forward. It wasn't a hard jerk, but it was noticeable. After driving a little while everything was fine, and it shifted smooth. It has happened twice in the past 2 days. It doesn't happen every time, but usually when its been sitting for a few hours. It doesn't seem to occur when it is not freezing outside, so i believe it has something to do with the cold transmission fluid?
I was wondering if anyone knew what this was or if anyone had experienced it before or knew how to fix it. I hope it isn't a big deal, but I'm not sure, I'd just like to fix it.
(i did search this i just couldn't find exactly what i was looking for so i figured i would ask)
