Color matching ext handles with Smart Key sensors

I recall reading a write up on how easy it was to replace the exterior door handles, but I don't think I read anything on if that method worked and kept the Fob-sensing aspect working.

Can anyone either tell me if it's impossible or point me to the thread? I searched, but came up empty.

Having a Bliz Pearl White, I'm not sure what color dip I could get away with, if that's the only viable option.

Did color matching handles start showing up on 14+? Maybe look up the part number for a later model runner with the touch sensor. I put blacked out handles on my 2010 to replace the chrome, but I have a key hole not the button
