Color Scheme Wrap Ideas????

When my boat was getting wrapped I saw a Porsche SUV getting a dark brushed aluminum wrap and it was incredible looking.

Seems to be.

I have a 70 Camaro that we did in Satin finish so I didn't have to worry about trying to get all the metal perfectly straight and I didn't want a perfect car. I wanted a car I could lean on at the Friday night car shows. I have a bike rack mounted on the right rear quarter so having a perfect paint job was definitely out of the question.

ps I think the rust thing started back in 2010 when a guy took a brand new Camaro and put a beast of a motor in it and sanded off the paint and made it look like a survivor.

Honestly, I was thinking about painting my 70 the color of your wrap. Your truck is one of my Favorites on the site. :thumb:

Patina has been a thing for easily 15 years in several communities I've been a part of. Though I can't explain a late model sports car rendered in rust... Must be more of a Mad Max thing.

One last thought; I don't love VW beetles, but the one above is really cool. Would throw a lot of non-car people off thinking it was vintage.

I'm still hoping someone will do a 4Runner in old school Ivan "The Ironman" Stewart race truck colors. Preferably, someone like [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] or [MENTION=106176]wfo9[/MENTION] with a long travel set up.
