I have a 2004 4 Runner and I'm trying to find a rattle can of matching paint . It is dark Metallic Gray . Can someone tell me the color name and color code so I can find some paint .

Are you referring to the coolest 4th gen color, Galactic Gray? If so, color code is 1E9.

If it's dark grey with lots of sparkles on it when the sun hits it, it's Shadow Mica, which is 1F4.

The color code is on the tag inside your driver's side door jam.

Try your local dealer. I don't know if they will have spray cans, but I do know they make touch-up paint pens, because I bought one for mine. Maybe they'll have an idea if they don't sell spray can sizes.

It's gonna be difficult to find it in a ready to use can. Most body shops mix it and then use their paint guns. The body shops around here will sell it in a larger bottle with a small brush that's more than what you get at the dealer. Never seen a can though because like I said they mix it onsite. The dealers around here only have the pens.

You can get a factory color made into a touch-up pen, aerosol can, quart, etc.

I got my local body shop to mix up a can of Galactic Gray for me and I simply airbrushed it on.... MUCH BETTER THAN A CAN ANYWAY!!!!
