Colorado 4th Genners... Plate Bumper Question

I'll try to keep this short. Had a slippery fender bender in my T4R and now I've got a busted front bumper. Never had any intentions of installing a plate bumper but now I'm considering it. I've checked some of the major contributors (Relentless, CBI, Tactical Armor) but I'm curious about local fabricators.

Are there any shops in the Denver or Springs area that anyone could suggest for a plate bumper? I figure if I find a fabricator local, it will save me on shipping.

Talk to Kirk at Rock Toy Industries in Commerce City. They fabbed up a nice set of sliders for me this summer and do lots of work on T4Rs.

I'm pretty sure they posted some photos this past summer of a custom plate bumper they did for a 3rd gen, you can look through their album.

I believe Addicted Off Road is located in CO and they have a really slick and mean bumper. I just bought one myself during their group buy and can't be any more satisfied!

Wow that's a sweet looking profile on that rear bumper. If I had messed up my front bumper, I would definitely replace it with a plate bumper.

I'm a big fan of the above bumper design! Gonna see if we can do one without the provision for a winch and holes cut for fog lights. Otherwise, exactly the same!

I will put in a good word for Addicted Off Road as well. I had an AOR tube bumper on my '99 T4R and loved it. AOR is easy to work with and his prices are hard to beat.

I love Armorology but (a) they are hella pricey, and (b) he takes his time building them (I've heard that a several-month wait is not unusual.)

If I had not already had a custom bumper built by a member of this forum (who, sadly, does not seem to be in the business anymore?) I would have gotten an AOR.

FWIW here's mine, built by Mtn.Runner, who is or was a member of this board:

He had a shop up in Basalt and was offering a discount to the first 3 people that sent a deposit to have a bumper built. He did a great job and I love the bumper.

The Addicted Offroad bumper looks so much better than anything out there in my opinion - especially if you have seen them in person. I beat the living hell out of their tube bumper on my '87 and can't wait to get the new one on the '06. Everything else out there looks like a giant ranch hand diamond plate bro diesel truck bumper to me now.

And why in the world would you not want the ability to have a winch? That makes no sense to me unless you are never planning on taking this off-road at all. At least keep the option open.

Just wish they would add light guards even if they had to lean them forward to clear. It is the best looking bumper out there otherwise.

No but they are nice. I received a quote from Armorology. A little out of my price range. Looks like I'll be paying AOR a visit soon.

I can and will also attest to the Addicted Offroad bumper. mine was just install on my 03 and is looks great, adds nice clearance and did not drop the front much even being on stock suspension still
