Colorado Fires

Figured I would post up about this. I know there is at least one member of the forum displaced by the fire. I just want to send my prayers out to him and the others affected by this disaster. Several of us were wheeling not far from Waldo Canyon last Saturday when that fire started. It was scary to see that close.

Please remember to be safe on the trails. Observe the fire bans at all times. These forests and trails are home to many of our runners and I personally would like to keep the scenery intact for future wheeling.

I don't live anywhere near there but I listen to kilo 94.3 over the net for years and I've been hearing the updates and evacuations all week, what a scary time for those affected!

Praying all is well for everyone and no one gets hurt, including the fellow T4R.org-er that you mentioned. Also glad that you made it out ok after wheeling last week.

If anyone reading this is displaced, needs a place to keep their pets or just a helping hand PM me. Your neighbors to the north have your back.

I didn't watch the news yesterday so I had no idea that the fire took out so many homes. I am very sorry for everyone that has been affected by these fires.

I am absolutely blown away from everyone in the area helping and supporting our neighbors. The food banks here are at 100% capacity from everyone donating food and water. Everyone is helping out in some sort by offering space in their homes for those who had to evacuate, donating food or whatever else they can do to be helpful. If this doesn't add faith or restore your faith in humanity, I don't know what else will.
