Colorado---Hall Valley Road

Has anyone run this? Thoughts and/or feedback? It looks pretty fun for a "lesser" talked about trail and were hoping to catch the earlier part of the fall leaf color change. We're running this tomorrow and hiking up to Gibson Lake via the Gibson Lake Trail along the way. I'll post a trip report and some pics after we get back, but I didn't see any Intel on the forum so I thought I'd ask.

So, this is a ho hum trail at best. It is a dead end road and if you take the right fork by the mine you won't even need 4low. A stock vehicle can make this run with little thought what so ever. I would classify it as a 1-2 on Trail Damage ranking. If you take the left fork you will need a little more clearance and you will scratch the rhymes with duck out of your truck (mine already had some Rocky Mountain Pin stripes so I only cringed a little). I might give it a 3-4 because you have to drive over taller obstacles as the trail is to narrow to maneuver around things.

Aspens were just turning, and should be georgeous the week of the 17th. I would recommend running Webster vs. Hall Valley Road.
