Not to thread fork, but I joined the RMO Meetup and will most likely make the next one. Is the venue kid friendly?

Don't know about kid friendly... (I have 3 girl-demon-minions), but I joined up too and will try to make the next RMO meetup, and anything else that comes outta this thread.

Yes, the venue is kid friendly. I occasionally bring our girls 8 & 10. There are a selection of board games that they can play... sometimes they bring their own. They sell soda, have water and a small assortment of snacks, just like any other brew pub. As the weather warms up, the food trucks start piling in, which is always nice. The location is in the back of a light industrial area so there is no traffic other than what we bring.

Do we need to register through RMO or can we crash the party? I'm going to be a last minute crasher if I can get the hall pass. I've got 3-4 nighttime hall passes to get approved by the boss next week. Lol...

I would love to meet some Colo T4R peeps as well as to see some of the cool RMO set-ups.

I was planning on it. Tuesday is typically all day meeting fest at work, so I'll need to blow off some steam.

REMINDER: All 4Runners (and their owners) are welcome at the Rocky Mountain Overland meetup at Odyssey Beerworks in Arvada, Colorado. RMO peeps typically arrive around 7:00 although there was some talk about the 4R crew arriving around 6. I will be there a little after 6:00.

Hope to see everyone there! You will get a free Rocky Mountain Overland sticker just for showing up and having a cold beer!

Sadly, I missed you guys. I arrived just before 7 and heard there were a few T4R folks there, but got into conversations with a few rubicon, a couple land cruiser, and a wrangler guy...missed the T4R conversation.

Perhaps we can try again the next 2nd Tuesday of the month or????... I would enjoy meeting some Colo T4R folks...

Well that's kinda funny. I got there about 6:30, but had to leave about 8:30. Lot's of nice people, but I also didn't meet any of the T4R folks.

My original plan suggested the next meet up was going to be further north. Do we want to stick to that?

Thanks to all of the folks who made it to their first Rocky Mountain Overland event last night. I met Micah, Powder Hound and LiquidMantis that I know of. I hope everyone keeps RMO on their calendar for the second Tuesday of each month at Odessey Beerworks. If someone wants to set up an event farther north, let me know and I will be there. Two suggestions: sign on the RMO forum: rockymountainoverland.com and find an RMO trip you want to do. These are some great people who love traveling the backcountry. We need more 'Runners along.
