Installed my CB yesterday. Just ordered my duratracs today. I'm a definite yes if I get the duratracs installed by Saturday.
I'm thinking of making a weekend out of it. Does anyone up there know if columbine campground is open for tent camping? If it isn't, are there any campgrounds open?

To my knowledge, the forest is open all year-round. :biggrin2:

Does anyone have an SWR meter for their CB that works? I got mine in the mail and it doesn't seem like it's reading anything. My CB works currently, but people got me scared that my CB is going to fry if I don't verify it myself.

Don't you need to yank your dash our to attach the meter to the back of the CB unit? I would like to test mine as well....

From what i've read it's not as accurate but it's ok to hook up the meter at the antenna. This should be good enough for our trail use.

I have the Cobra 75WXST so the control box is hidden under the center console. I just have to take out my center console to hook it up. It's not that bad.
