Alright i am not new to the forum but i sold my 1st gen and i am buying a 2000 4runner all stock.

basically ive been saving my cash for a while and im going to drop about $5000 in upgrades and mods. but i was wondering if i could get some insight on what i should do first?
i want a lift, and bigger tires, but deos that mean i should upgrade gears?

kinda a cry for help, im not trying to waste my hard earned money lol.

Gears will depend on how big a tire you plan on running.

i was thinking maybe 33s? any suggestions on tire size? lift size? im really looking for all kinds of ideas. i just want to spend my money wisely.

Well, I think before most anyone here chimes in, you're gonna want to be a little more specific on what your end goal is. What do you plan to use it for. Rock crawler? Mall crawler?

And I would also say that most here would agree that you really don't want to go over 3". Anything over that requires a lot of modification.

Honestly here is my situation, off road is a garuntee.. but i am moving back to phx Az in the next 4 months so it will have to make a 2000 mile drive. it will be a daily driver as well. trying to get a good mesh of urban, and off road together.
