Computer chip update

Have any heard about this update?
I'm at for a dash check and they ask if i want the computer chip update, that its a recall

Ask them what the recall is?

There was one for the brake pedal/accelerator pedal, but that one expired May 2016.

The dealership still did that on mine last month when it went in for a dash replacements. Didn't ask beforehand or mention it, just told me about it when I went to pick it up.

already done.. ( BST RECALL).
all I know is that both of vsc off and vsc on lights are off.
didnt have to do a zero calibration :laugh::laugh:

I'd deny it.. if you off-road that is.. they had a computer upgrade that affected how the brake and gas pedal worked when both were applied.. this hindered off-road performance as you can't play with the gas and brake to get over obstacles as well

Interesting. I have not been to the dealer for a while. Last year, I refused the recall. I believe the recall actually expired at the end of March 2016. I have had problems with the brake pedal too close to the accelerator pedal. IMO, they needed to move the brake pedal over.

Will have to look into this because I wanted to do the recall after I thought about it and almost crashing the T4R (again)!
