Computer virus from T4R????

So, yeah, who the heck is an admin here and can look into the ad networks? I just had to clean my home PC that I use for t4r also, and it took our tech guy at work like an hour to remove. He used ComboFix and that's what I used at home, also. This is no BS, there is some serious **** coming down here.

use firefox with adblock plus and ghostery - all problems solved at the front end that way
you'd be amazed at how many trackers and stuffers this site is using

Unfortunately I've stopped visiting T4R.org on my work laptop (Win) ever since it needed to be re-imaged a couple of weeks ago. The virus was traced back to this site. I now only use Tapatalk or my Mac at home.

You guys should also look into the No Script add-on.

im not doubting that you're getting a virus, but this is a pretty active site, with quite a few members, and very few are having this issue.

seems a bit odd for it to be isolated to just a few.

There's a secondary requirement for infection: the user's PC has to be running an outdated version of the browser, PDF reader, Flash player, or Java.

You'd be surprised how many people just don't know or care enough to maintain their computer. These trojans will sit in the background and munch up data and bandwidth slowly, most people won't notice anything until the computer runs ridiculously slow or web browsing becomes laggy and plauged with random redirects. I've had to fix dozens of people's computers that were literal pandora's boxes full of infections.
