Condensation inside windshield

Are we talking moisture vapor or drops of water clinging to inside of windshield?
Mine builds up moisture vapor on interior windshield and front windows when changes in the weather occur, like going from a humid/warmish previous day to a drier/cooler front the next, running the a/c in dash mode for a minute or two usually removes it. Yet perhaps your's is a bit more than that? :cowboy:

I hope it's not coolant leak fro the heater core.
Moisture in the air inside condensing on cold glass is normal.
IF excessive that means something causes the air inside the truck to have more moisture content than ambient air.
If you haven't been sleeping inside the truck, or cooking near the opening where steam is blown into the truck, it may be a leak or crack in heater core. Have you been losing coolant?
You're in Jersey so it may be tough to try driving with the heater on minimum (No coolant flow into the heater core).

No, no coolant leaks at all. And I always check my coolant just incase. Heat also works flawlessly. Carpet is dry. However the truck has been sitting for 3 weeks. And the weather in jersey has been cold and warm. It’s been weird weather. I’ve only noticed the condensation inside the truck on the windshield when it’s been sitting and has rained on.

I see. If no leaks from outside, most likely it's just trapped moist air from warmer, humid days condensing when it gets colder outside, Or just ambient humidity condensing on cold glass like normal.
We were just on the moist and cold northern coast of California this weekend, camping in the truck. While we have the windows cracked open, there was still co much condensation, the AC-heat was not enough to vaporize it. The glass was actually dripping wet inside.

This has never happened to me but it sounds like moisture inside the truck. Could be a small drip somewhere where the rug isn't soaked.

Could be that you have a leaky windshield. Glass installers don't care if they scratch up the paint under the seal removing old glass. Water gets in and rusts behind the seal, pretty soon you have a leak. This is the case with my 4runner....discovered a couple years after I bought it. My low-buck fix is a big black vinyl band-aid across the top of the windshield that has now been in place about 3-1/2 years.

I also get condensation on the inside of my window. It only happens in winter and it's just because the floor mats get so wet from snow and slush. It also doesn't help that I have my ice fishing gear in the back that brings in a bunch of snow/slush/ice every time I go fishing.
What I've noticed that helps is to leave a couple windows slightly cracked. This allows the moist air to escape the cabin and not build up on the window.

I never had this issue before. I owned the truck for 4 years. It doesn’t look wet or anything around the windshield.
This is pissing me of badly. I’ll try and check really good under the carpets. Although it did rain Wednesday badly. Then Thursday it for really cold. And hats when I noticed the frost on the inside. And not the outside.

Run the truck for a while with the "a/c" button on (hot or cold air doesn't matter but the a/c button needs to be lit up. Then make sure you also have the truck set to "recirculate." This will run the internal truck air through the a/c system and therefore through the receiver/dehydrator and will dry out the air in the truck.
I'm of the opinion that it's just a weather problem and not a problem with the truck.

I notice that mine does this as well when the temperature/humidity changes in a short amount of time like you have been experiencing. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Make sure your air control is not always in recirc.

check under the carpet ..
I had a leak from the ac duct in summer .. high humidity the drain on the ac vent had a small piece of tree crap blocking the drain hole/hose .. top of carpet dry under carpet a load of water .. had to remove carpet took 2 weeks for it to dry completely..
I checked and checked under carpet... but its dry. This past weekend, it rained very hard. Today, when I got back home around 9 pm. There is condensation inside the truck on the windshield AGAIN! WTF. Ive been running the AC on fresh air for past few days, trying to clear it out. But still, after it rained hard, next day condensation. Although carpet is dry.
Here are some photos of my windshield. I don't think its original windshield. However, the seal looks to be professionally done and very TIGHTLY SET. I don't want to remove. The seal around the windshield is more of HARD type rubber rather than soft.
( This is the day it had FROST, because it was very cold. )

That doesn't look bad at all. I've had it much worse than that after driving in a slight drizzle with my windows down for a few minutes.
Took me a while to get rid of it completely, like others said just turn the A/C on and let it run while you drive around for a few days, you can turn the temp dial to high heat if you want as long as the A/C button stays lit to de-humidify the car. Mine took a few days of this before it was back to normal.
