Confirmed- 5th Gen TRDP rear suspension for 3rd gen

so the 5th gen rear shocks are too long for 3rd gen without a bigger bump stop or limit straps? that reduces my overall travel? also with a 3" lift the wheels full compression is still going to the same place so i still need a bigger bump stop?
