Yep.
1 belt for air conditioning pump
1 belt for power steering pump
1 belt for alternator
1 timing belt behind the black plastic timing belt cover

How long does it take to replace so I have an idea so the shop doesn't try and charge me more im gonna bring in my own part

Which belt are you referring to?
I'm going to assume you mean the timing belt....

The shop that does my work charged me about $550, including parts. I'm not sure what it would be without parts.

Not many shops let you bring your own parts, or if they do, they may not warranty it the same. Better double check that.

The timing belt..I already did the 3....was it 550.00 for just the timing belt?

The ace I go to they let me bring in my own parts...ja wondering how much in labor im gonna be looking at.

IIRC, it was timing belt, water pump, idler pulley, timing belt tensioner pully, and thermostat. I think parts were around $200, so that would leave $350 in labor.

You said you read through the DIY writeups- why are you hesitant to do the timing belt yourself? Just curious.....

(BTW- I paid to have it done on my Tacoma because I didn't have the time to do it. I did it myself on my T4R, took me probably 10 hours, no hurry, over the course of 3 nights)

I would say yes. But my truck doesn't have any rust, I have tools (no air tools) and a garage (unheated) to work in. 10 hours isn't real simple, but it's doable.

Here's the links I used as writeups on how to do it.

(BTW, I think these are all listed in the FAQ or Tutorial link at the top of this forum)

What other mechanical work have you undertaken, and how did it go?

Otherwise, if you know where you're going to take it, just ask him how much he'd charge you.
