COnfusion...Idle screw or not? 22RE

There is a flat head screw on the left hand side of the throttle body. Is that the idle adjustment?

Also, when you press the gas petal it pulls on the cable correct? THe cable that connects to the throttle body, the circular piece that is rotated by the cable.

THe piece that rotates, (while idleing) there is a screw with a hex head (adjustable)... DO you know what piece im talking about? That isnt the idle adjustment is it?

You are correct, the large flat head screw on the left side of the throttle body is the idle speed adjustment. It controls the amount of air that is allowed past the throttle blade.

i used that to adjust my idle and worked fine. it was really touchy is all.
