Hey Gents-
I'm considering picking up a pair of ditch lights for my 4runner and putting them in cali raised mounts. I have two concerns.
1) I've read that some people like the ditch lights mounted a bit higher up/taller than others, because it helps to negate some of the glare off the hood. Is this a real issue that one contends with or is it fairly minor?
2) How do you prevent theft of these things, or at least discourage it? The D-SS Pros I'm looking at are around $550. If all it takes to steal them is an adjustable wrench or screwdriver, that seems like a loss waiting to happen if you leave the car unattended for too long. I suppose one could weld the nut in place, but that seems overkill.
