Cooland flush questions air bleed

I flushed the mud out of the cooling system on the 1993 3.0.
When I refilled it, I have lots of air bubbles coming out the radiator cap bypass hose when the vehicle is hot and comes to a stop. I ran it up some ramps and heat cycled it 3x and still have the bubbles. Does this eventually go away after some heat cycles or is there a special bleeding procedure I missed?

Are you turning on the heater full blast (heat, not the fan) when your bleed it?

You gotta turn the heater on full heat when you bleed the system! And it has to be sittin' pretty high up front! If its not working for you, find someone with a steep driveway, put your ramps down, run the vehicle up the ramps, pull that radiator cap and give it a couple of LIGHT revs. About 1500rpm is what I've done before, just a little force to move the water through and get little air pockets to move up and out.

You will definitely know if you've gotten them all when you are driving along, turn your heater on full heat and do NOT hear wooshing or gurgling inside the vehicle!

Getting the air out of these things is a PITA. I got tired of trying lifting the front end, burping it, etc that I bought one of those prestone refill kits and put the junction in that high line coming from the back of the engine. Allows me to bleed the air off back there at the highest point. I think the kit was like $5.

Yes, heater is on high.
I wondered about the Prestone flush and fill kit as a possible solution.
I will try to find a serious uphill place to stop.

Be careful with that kit, the plastic cap on mine cracked and started leaking. Dunno if they've changed the plastic in the last several years, I believe I removed mine about 12 years ago, so its possible that the kits are much better made than before.
