Coolant leak with picture.

From what I can tell, it’s the location of the o ring on the water inlet assembly? Wife was complaining about no heat except when driving, so I instantly though low coolant. Just looked and saw what you see in the picture. Entire timing belt/water pump change was done about 30k miles ago and everything has been fine since. Topped off the coolant for now, hopefully it’s the o ring like I’m thinking and I can get it fixed in the driveway quickly. Just wanting to make sure it’s just that, or at least what other think it may be. Thanks

I had to replace the o-ring on mine too. I have the v6, but it looks like it is leaking from a hose. I was dumb and reused the old hose clamps and had the exact same thing happen. I caught it before I lost heat, I replaced the clams with stainless ones from lowes. Easy and cheap fix.

Told the wife to let me know these things quicker next time. She’s been without heat until she gets to driving for a while she said.

Looks like the oring on the tstat housing to me. I have rolled that oring on installation and had a leak before too. Also check around other places while you're in there, I had a leaking water pump gasket that I found 10k after my timing belt job. Good thing because the pump itself was actually shot already! OEM gasket and pump still going strong another 30k later.

The wife said she had heat this morning before pulling out of the driveway. I check everywhere else and didn’t see any other leaks. Getting an o ring today, hopefully get it changed in the next day or two.
