Coolant seeping through hose seams

Has anybody ever seen this before?

I noticed a problem with the upper hose seeping coolant bubbles through the seams on the end of the hose. It just bubbles, doesn't really leak in the traditional sense. My friend (a 30+ year mechanic) said to replace the clamp, it may have just loosened up over time. I replaced it with a new clamp and it still does it! The hose is relatively new, I replaced all coolant hoses when I rebuilt the engine, about 2.5 years ago. Anybody have any advice?

If coolant is really seeping out of the middle of the hose I would replace the hoses. I would be afraid of a bubble forming in the outer half of the hose and blowing out.

are those hoses oem?

never saw that in my hoses (oem). I would replace those immediately because the integrity of those hoses is questionable and could burst anytime.

You said your hose is 2.5 years old. When you replaced the clamp did you make sure to put it back EXACTLY in the same location? 2.5 years is enough for the hose to get hard and take on the shape of the clamp. If you don't put the clamp on exactly where it made its marks, it won't seal as well (evenly).

Also, see if you can pressure test your radiator cap. A non functioning cap causes the coolant pressure to build up beyond normal levels.
