Does anyone know what temp the A/T temp light comes on?

When its just about too late, 300F.

There s/b plenty of air being pulled even with a/c on, idling for hours or slow speed wheeling. There is something wrong, most likely a combination of aging fan clutch and failing radiator cap. Replace both with toyota stuff and it'll last a long time. Luck.

I just did the cap and will do the clutch fan in a month or so being I'm not doing any slow wheelie till next spring. I've been in stop and go traffic at 100 degree temps and my gauge would never go above half. I was seriously crawling at 5 to 10mph for a long time in 4low when it started to get warm.

If a vehicle is starting to get warm while crawling. I prefer to turn on the heater to max and raise the hood. This allows the vehicle to cool itself and prevent hotspots in the engine. When wheelin I also carry an infrared thermometer to verify Temps.

If your ATF reached 250 deg or higher change it. Even if recently changed.
