Hi, I can't find such reviews, I'm thinking I'm going to go with these tires as well. However, I would like to read some reviews. Discount Tires doesn't have any reviews on them.

The vehicle engineers at Consumer Reports performed extensive tests. 1engineer, who has a track record here and I'm guessing is not prone to impulse buys, purchased them. No one else seems to have any negative feedback.
My feeling would be that with high quality information already in hand, the noise of surveys might only tend to degrade the signal.

I did google that!!! All the reviews are company reviews, some other forum reviews as well.
I'm looking for tire site reviews, such as tire.com, which don't stock those tires.

Hey Danny make sure you watch the video that 1engineer posted in his link above. No tire company is going to manufacture a flawless tire 100.0% of the time. You will always hear about the people who complain they have a unbalanced tire, ect. It's a process to manufacture a tire. Processes are inherently flawed, especially where there is human input. The bottom line is that Cooper is really onto something here with the A/T3's and I believe the overwhelming reviews and thoughts on the tires (from real world people) is a positive one. Good luck making your decision. But I don't think that anyone here on the board has too much more to offer than what has now been said. It's time to sh*t or get off the pot. :thumb3:

Just remember tire sites sell tires so their review may be biased after all they want you to buy their tires.
On the first page of the search there are two good reviews by impartial reviewers, RiverMud Blogspot and Off-Road.com. Also I would think real peoples real life experiences would offer better insight than the guy selling the product.
When I do a search for you (or anyone) I don't just throw the page up there as to say "find it yourself", I actually read the results to make sure they are useful.

PS: Sorry to be your "bad dream" but you've been asking about wheels and tires since the day you joined T4R. If you haven't figured it out by now you never will. :nono:

LOL! haha, touche. I would be annoyed and am annoyed, am just extremely compulsive about research.
I was going to put bigger tires on my stock rims, since my knowledge expands daily, i have decided against that for safety reasons.
Now - I know the tire/wheel size I want and thus the new questions.

Yeah thanks for being consistantly annoying with all your questions..........This means I dont have to be now! And to be honest Im still lost because people keep talking about camber adjusments, pushing the tires as forward as possible, wheel spacers, back spacing ect. Those coppers are nice but he also has a spacer lift, so now if I dont have the lift will they work/rub? I just want a new tire with possible new rims without all the mechanical stuff involved. Soooo you keep asking your questions please.

You're easy then, Stick with OEM sized tires or go to a 17x8 wheel and a 265/70r17 tire of your choice :bigok:

Sure you can go with 18's but as with the 20's you are limiting your tire selection. Best bet choose which tire you want then see what sizes are available and then choose the appropriate wheel.
Whats the biggest 18 I can go without rubbing/mod issues?

Based off of http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator 275/65/18 is closest to OEM with a %1.5 of a difference.
Remember when shopping for wheels, if you want to avoid using spacers and all that you have to find. Wheel with a 0MM offset. Almost purchased a set of wheels but didn't thanks to all the good folks on this forum.
0MM offset, aftermarket wheels aren't in abundance.

Another option is to simply stick with your factory 20's and put on the Cooper AT3's in a 275/55/60 size. You will have no rubbing, nor will you have to do a single mechanical thing to the vehicle to fit these tires.
If you want to run the 275/60/20 like I have, you will need to lift your vehicle. Plain and simple. :thumb3:

I my self would LOVE to do that and save myself and everyone on this forum the headache.
Problem is that size is recommended for rims with a width of minimum 7.5". Stock 20"s are 7". Run the chance of bad wear on the tires, cupping, tire separation etc... I hate Toyota for this.

I absolutely hear you and where you are coming from with the worry of the cupping, tire wear, ect on the 7" rim. There are many of us on here that are running the 275's on the factory 20's with a 7" wide rim. I have even aired mine down to ~18 pounds when driving on the beach recently (and flexed the suspension and tires over miles of sand for 2 days straight). No issues to report. That is not to say it could not happen, but I can only report what I personally experienced.
You have a valid point Danny, and one to be taken with a grain of salt. But on the flip side, there are those of us who are speaking from true experience and not just readings. I don't want a potential person to not put the 275's because they read you post and are scared.
As I mentioned earlier, tires are a funny thing. They entail a very scientific detailed process to engineer and truly manufacture correctly. There will always be bad tires and bad batches. But everything I have personally seen with my 275's look fantastic. I drive approximately 800 miles a week and will continue to update people with my experiences in the months and years to come... :beer:
