Cooper Discoverer ATP anybody running these?

I have a 97. It's the weekend fun, errand and Costco run machine. It has some stock size tires on it right now which are fine. I'm not looking to get a lift or anything, all I do is light offroad stuff. Maybe some snowy roads there and there. But with a baby on the way a mud terrain isn't in my future. I have always been a fan of BFG AT's and have had them on previous rigs, however at 200+/tire its close to a $1k all said and done...

I went to Discount and saw the Discoverer ATP's for $135/ea. So I was interested in them. They are in a 265/75/16 which is slightly larger than whats on the rig now, which are 265/70/16.

I tried searching but can't really find too much on them.
Are Coopers decent tires?
Anybody running a 265/75 size tire, how do you like the increase size?
Does anybody have experience with these tires?

I think they have been replaced (as of last May or something) by the A/T3. I have a set of those (A/T3) and love them. No snow to test yet but off-road they do great and are quiet on the highway. Supposed to get 55K out of them. They are about $165-170 each (for 265/75-16 load range C light truck tires, the 'SUV' version is cheaper). Coopers are great tires. They're very popular in Oz, and their 'roads' are usually a lot tougher than ours (and being 500 miles from nowhere, you want good tires).

If you looking for something like a BFG AT, look at the Falken Rocky Mountain/Wild Peak. They are very similar to the All Terrain, and are only $130 each at Discount. My dad has them on his Jeep, and I'll be getting them for mine in a while.

Yes coopers are good tires. I am actually running those exact tires, same size and all, and I even got them from discount tire! Ive had them on for about three weeks now and I would recommend them.

Have you taken them on the dirt? Or driven in the rain, snow, etc? If so, how did they handle?
