@alexb and @Desert Fox; great updates, thanks! I can't wait to try mine out!
It would be good to see your 4Runner in Ouray at the next FJ Summit, you are not that far away.

Have you tried to fit one of these in the spare location yet? Curious if it will work.
Did you keep your toytec coilovers set at the factory shipped setting or did you adjust? I'm about to install the Boss kit myself and I really like your truck's stance. I also purchased the S/T Maxx 255/80-17's.
Factory shipped settings. Thanks! You'll love it!
I didn't go through your whole build... But can I ask?
Did you do any trimming, mud flap removal, or BMC in the front for rubbing?
And slightly less weight per tire.
Mpg have been decent. Averaging around 16.2-16.4 daily driving. Mix of city and highway. I drove to the lake last night and only managed 15.7 but there was a good wind and cruise was at 79-80 most the way. If I slow it down to 70-75 its much better.I love the look of your rig.
How is your mpg since you have FN wheels? It is because i believe FN wheels are more light than the stock wheels. Your rig did 17.5 mpg with stock wheels and stmaxx tires, right?
Alex, you still running 40psi? Guy at Discount suggested 43, Guy I had road force balance the tires said 32 (door jam spec). What have you found to be best tire pressure with these for overall comfort, wear, and performance?
I currently run 265x70x17 duratracs and have been looking for 255x80s to get a full 33" tire. However, I live in Boston and drive through some serious snow and shitstorms for half the year.
Anyone have any real world experience with these coopers in snow? Are they good? Can you compare these to the duratracs perhaps (which are GREAT).
hello :yo:
Really like the stance of your rig; I'm going with OME (light, don't carry that much weight around with me on a daily basis) w/the S/T Maxx in 255/80 on stock wheels. Question, do you have KDSS? Just inquiring if you have any lean to the passenger side if you do, doesn't look like it in the pics. Also, what psi have you settled on?
Thanks!
