Coordinates to some of my spots on Google Earth

Hey guys, not being a paying subscriber im unable to make this any easier but thought it might be a cool idea. We should all post up the coords. (lat / lon) of some of our local/ favorite spots and we can all try to find & admire them from space! I dont know how well it will work but whatever!

Here goes:

1) This place, reminded me of the surface of the moon, and its the only place that ive gotten stuck yet. I ended up driving into a quiksand lake :-( pretty much right after i got there, so i have got to go back and check it ALL out and so should u

2) This is a cool orange (duh!) sandpit that is pretty close to me intown. Its near an aeronautical univ., and its easily accesed. Its really fun. I like to drive around in 4hi and see how far i can go, and she'll pretty much do the whole damn thang! watch for the police :\

3) some fun little trails here, just to the West of Martins Dairy rd. Couple of water crossings that I have pussed out upon doing up to this point Nothing too special, or long :-(

The 2nd place you listed is right by Riddle - the local call it "Red Hill". Never seen the fuzz back there but have seen some rigs stuck and left over night. The one time it looked like college kids from the dorm - I figured they went adv-ing after a night at the pubs and got stuck . I did run across some ROTC kids - come over one hill on the KTM at there was a bunch of dudes in camo with fake M16s. Kind of funny.

I could definatley see a 2wd getting real stuck back there, but so far ive made it farther and thru alot more than i figured i could stock......

So, how are ur mechanical skills and tool selection amigo?

I would say I am about an average wrench. I work on my own bikes and stuff - just to save money. When I did my lift (Revteck spacers) the hardest part was the front. Got a spring compressor from Auto Zone. The back can be done in an hour (now I have taken the back apart 3 time now so got it down). The last time the track bar was off a bit and had to have the wife lean on the passanger side to get it to line up (along with jacking up the P side rear tire)I do not have an impact wrench and that would speed things up. I put a 3in body lift on my old Ranger? Did not mess with that ford twin traction beam deal with the 4 in James Duff lift- that required a bit of welding and cutting. Had that done at Wilsons4x4.com in Holly Hill. Glad to meet up if you want for a little wrenchathon. It's got to be killing ya having the lift in hand but not put on?

Cool! I really want to do this stuff on my own, to save and also to learn... but damn I dont know if i've got it in me...
I did all the work on my previous car, but once i sold it I said I would just take my next places to have it all installed, but the $!
Im torn, I just sent an email to Wilsons for an estimate...
Im guessing maybe around $500... so hopefully its a bit less and ill be satisfied/fed up enough to just go with it!
Ur truck looks great! Ive only seen u once around, but i was stoked and impressed!
Well, im not sure yet, but so far it seems like i might just take her in for the work...
Man, and it SURE is KILLING me to have 4 nice boxes full of parts stacked up in my room just SITTING! Ive taken everything out and looked at it everyday since it all came in!
Id post pics, but i lost the charger to my cam..... doh!

Danny Jr. @ Wilsons 4x4 quoted me between $900 - $1200 for the INSTALL of these parts.... needless to say i was dissappointed.
He seemed to make the biggest fuss over the body lift, saying it would take them 6 hours alone, the most costly part of the entire deal.....
So im sceptical and pissed!
Ive got a couple more places to shoot emails to before i give up and let my wallet get rape(ed)
