Corner lights wired wrong?

I just installed some clear corners and when I went to go test them out I noticed that the lights weren't blinking when I signaled, only the bumpers did.

And when I turned on my headlights, my corners would come on.

The corners are supposed to blink right? Did someone mess up the wiring?

ya the corners are known as "parking lights" and only illuminate... if u want them to blink then ull have to re-wire it urself. there are write ups on Yotatech for sure and there might be one on here too.

No, only the bumpers blink. The corners stay solid on with the headlights and never blink.

Thanks, that explains it. I was going crazy there trying to think of whether they did or not.

Nice to see a guy ask a question and not get treated like dirt for asking. Previous questions like this got kind of snippy and nasty.

I have the corner lights modded to be both parking lights and turn signals and it sure is helpful to oncoming traffic.

For some reason folks do not think to look down at the bumpers for turn signals.

For even more "direction" indication I highly recommend the European style side markers. Pics on my Facebook link. Cutting into your own fenders is the ultimate pucker upper!
