Cornfed 2/1

Everyone hit up the poll. Im thinking about ordering a Cornfed 2/1, but don't know how it will look with stock sized Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. I've seen the 3/2 lift on Burtman Industries site and it look like it is running the same size tire. Post pics of stock sized tires with the 2/1 if you have them. I dont think it would look to bad withthe stock tire size. Let me know what you think. Buying new tires isn't in my future, so it is either put the lift on and run the tires I have now or run these tires out for another 16 months and then get the lift.

I voted buy the kit, and run the stock tires until you need to upgrade them. That's my plan anyway. Cornfed 2/1 kit, then new tires.

I have the 2/1 cornfed kit. It is great, I'll post pics when I have a few mins. Def worth it! Good luck!

I just received the 2/1 CF kit (still waiting to put it on) but wanted a little bit beefier look without going over the top.

Think that I will remain on stock tires until it is time to replace them.

I have heard nothing but good things about CF!

I'll go with the CF, and stock size tires.

I will probably switch to the B.F. Goodrich T/A KO's LT265/65/17 when the Yokohama Geolanders (P265/65/17) that are on there now wear out.

Reason.. I just want a little more height & ground clearance, and I don't want to alter speedometer / computer calibration.

FWIW- 265/70/17 won't mess anything up in terms of calibration enough to worry about. In fact it's so little most don't even worry about it... The speedo may indicate 2-3mph low at 60mph but that's it...

That's exactly the kind of error I don't wish to introduce. It's already 1.5 MPH slow @ 60 MPH; a true measured 60 reads roughly 61.5 MPH

We have several measured miles on the local freeway system here, so it's easy to precisely measure speedo error. This 4 Runner has one of the most accurate speedo's I've ever had. My old Tacoma, for example, was a full 10% off; true 60 MPH read as 66. The odd thing was that the odometer was accurate.

Offroading isn't a concern for me; so oversize tires aren't a requirement. I just want a little more ground clearance for handling deep snow, and I want those tires.. lol.. I had them on my Tacoma, and they were excellent in the snow.

Although I would love to be able to get into offroading, the type of terrain I would like, such as sand, mud, fire roads and such simply isn't available (legally) here in The People's Republic of NY. Hell, they've got a good chance of legislating snowmobile & ATV trails out of existence.
Yes, I know, there's an OR park in PA, and there's a place in Syracuse that focuses on rock crawling, but that doesn't appeal to me at all.

Heck, there used to be a NY State chapter of TTORA (Tacoma Territory Off Roaders Association), but it collapsed about 6 years back.
