for some reason the camera makes the color temp seem like 12000k compared to the fogs, its about 6500k. and yeah they have a fairly centered hotspot but the distribution is nice and smooth, no laser beams as they call them. the fogs add the additional width that they need, and if needed hid's could easily be fitted into the fogs.

they arent quite as bright as my 55 watt morimoto xb hids in my fxr 3.0 3" projectors, but like i said previously they have smooth transitions so the lights them self arent distracting for my dad to look at. there really is no visible step its more of a color shift on the left of top of the beam. i also noticed the reflectors almost had a dichroic effect so that would account for the epic color flicker.

on a side note, these would make some bad ass reverse lights.

You managed to update the '10-'13 model year's cheap reflector bowl housings without having the hideous front end on the '14+ models.

may I ask why you choose LED vs HID? I think HID has better output, because I have HID I had LED's before i retrofit and it was horrible compared to HID. I have to say I never tried LED's in projector, so I don't know. I read that Vl3d came up with very powerful LED, but I don't know if i believe that.
Do you know what is LM on this lights that you installed?

I honestly have never had a time where I felt the stock headlight wasn't bright enough... this includes overnight trips between KC and Chicago, and Chicago to West Virginia.

If you like it and your dad likes it that's all that should matter. I wouldn't get upset when you post about something subjective (style) and get opinions that people don't like it. Personally it's not for me.
