Correct spark plug gap!

What is the correct gap on an OEM spark plug for a 2003 4Runner with a V8 engine? Other than putting some electrical lubricant to the threads and use the correct torque, what other precautions or tips do you recommend when replacing the spark plugs? Any recommendation on brands that have worked best for you? Should I go with the OEM or aftermarket plugs? Thanks!

From the '03 Factory Service Manual-
"DENSO made K20HR-U11
NGK made LFR6C-11
Electrode gap 1.0 - 1.1 mm (0.039 - 0.043 in.)
Maximum electrode gap 1.46 mm (0.057 in.)"

Torque is written as 15ft/lb

You can get the NGK or Denso's from a variety of sources; you don't have to go to the dealer.

Do not adjust gap in iridium plugs. Get them from dealer with set gap from factory.

FYI, most spark plug manufacturers advise against using any kind of thread lubricant (anti-seize) on their plugs. If you decide to go with lubricant, it's important to understand that the recommended torque values will be too low.

Can the iridium plugs that the dealer sells be found in local auto parts like Pep Boys, AutoZone or Advanced Auto?
