corrosion?

I have an 05 V8 SE and noticed that rust is forming on some parts of the undercarriage. Is this normal for the 4R? Is this covered under the warranty? My other toyota cars do not have this problem.
I live in PA and used it a few times in the snow but washed it really well during and after the winter.

Aluminum is not strong enough and stainless steel costs too much; so carbon steel is mainly used. The vehicle is undercoated from the factory but they will not cover ball joints, bushings, ect, and many of the hardware (like nuts & bolts).

So yes it is normal for several areas to rust. Especially living where they spread salt down in the winter.
