Couldn't yiu just turn the front bumper running lights into auxilary lights?

I think the orange lenses in the bumper just glow a steady amber when the headlights are on, right? If you got clear lenses, couldn't yiu just run whits bulbs and kinda have white semi fog/aug lights when the headlights are on? Anyone doing this?

Maybe you should go look for yourself to see what they do before starting a thread.

Once you figure out what those lights do you'll realize why no one has responded. Don't be lazy...put a little thought and investigation into things before you ask questions.

You really took offense to my post. Sure it could be read as a little abrasive but I didn't think it was as bad as you interpreted it. I was making a suggestion (try reading it as me talking without any tone in my voice, just talking). I'm just challenging you to do a little more research first. Asking us what your bumper lights do rather than walking outside, well, I guess that seems lazy to me...just how I see it. I'm not trying to be a **** right now, just think you should try things out on your own and search more. Maybe it's my personality...I tear my car apart first and try to figure things out on my own before I come here to ask questions...unless I know I might be getting in over my head or don't have a clue what I am doing and am worried about screwing something up.

Anyways, you could probably send your blinker wires up to your corners making them your new blinkers and then use the old blinkers as different lighting. Although you wouldn't have parking lights. Probably illegal. I think someone over at yotatech figured out how to have them always on and then flash off and on as blinkers. Try searching over there and maybe you can figure something out if that idea interests you. A simpler process may be to just to send some wire through the valence and mount some lights near the license plate....seen that before on here.

Thanks dude, I appreciate that. Im going to ask stupid questions from time to time, Ive only owned my 4R for like 3 weeks now. I come here for help and guidance and am happy to provide the same for others. IMO thats the reason for forums such as these. Ive owned over 50 cars in my 35 years on this earth, from Porsches to Miatas to Supras and now to the $r. I will always try to help anyone that needs it and only ask for the same in return. Youll find Im not a mean guy and Im new to the 4R, but I love my truck. It will take me some time to get caught up to the veterans that know it already. Low lights like that just cast long shadows and aren't that good as aux lights. Fog lights are down there because there is less fog near the ground.
