Couple Q's???

On the deckplate mod, more beneficial to go with a 5 inch or smaller like the 4 or 3 inch? Or personal preference. Haven't seen any science on the size differences.

Also, has anyone thought of using hood louver's? Any particular brand or area on the hood for placement. Just curious

On the deckplate, get whichever you want. I use a 4", but a 6" will fit fine. I have seen someone use 9" and that was too big.

With the louvers (vents for those who dont know). I only would use them on a dedicated trail rig/weekend warrior. If you drive your vehicle in the winter, the heat coming from the engine compartment mixed with a freezing windshield= crack.

Thanks! I know what part of my Labor Day plans are now besides watching SEC football. The hood vents would have been placed more to the center of the hood and on the high side of ridge. I've seen it placed differently on the hood of other vehicles. Just an idea I had throwing around. Will do more research on the ISR mod as well and see how involved the different methods and what tools I have at my disposal.
