couple questions about fj springs + tokico vs bilsteins

My 04 v6 4x4 has about 140k on, I am pretty sure original shocks. I can get a set of 07 FJ shocks and springs that were supposedly taken off after just a few months and stored since for $100, see below.

I would like to get some lift, without having problems with alignments, etc. I have read 2" is about the most to go before possible alignment issues arise. I'm thinking maybe 2f/1r or 2/2. Are the 5100s significantly better to make it worth the $300ish? Would I be better off getting the 5100s or getting the FJs and adding spacers. I live in Illinois so the truck is pretty much on road and camping vehicle. I have stock road tires now, but will need some before long, will probably get same size with a little more aggressive tread.

I'll chime in on this one.

My truck has 171,750 miles right now, last 800 miles was on the following

-daystar 2.5/1.5
-fj coils
-tacoma bilstein hd front shocks
-fj cruiser rear bilstein hd shocks

truck drives beautiful right now, before when i hit bumps it felt like a crashing of the suspension, not bouncy just jarring like the truck is falling apart.

alaignment is fine, i netted a total of 4.5" lift with the new taller tires too

i like it, its a good ride right now. specs are in the signature below
