Coyote issues ....

Yesterday the family was over for Thanksgiving , I was downstairs with my Dad working on my drum kit , my wife yells for me in a panic , I come up and there are 3 of them looking in our patio doors......lol. My Mom tried to take a pic so I'll see if it turned out. It was relatively dark out and she was taking it through the glass.

We have a ton of them around here , I'm so used to them they don't even bother me a all. I walk right out there when they are here. The only time it bothers me is in summer when the windows are open at night and all the damn howling. Wife gets creeped out by that , it's just wakes me up , but pretty used to them . it's a daily thing here.

When they have pup's they are really cute.

My stepson who lives in the city was here and freaking out acting like it was a Grizzly or Mountain Lion .........jez.... city slickers....lol.

They have been known to attack small children. They are not aggressive in general but if they are hungry watch out, especially if they are in a pack. At my grandparents' house we used to sit on the back porch with shotguns at night and turn on flood lights and then snipe them. We received 50 dollars per male and 100 dollars per female killed. I guess as long as you don't have small children/animals around you're ok but they will attack humans if in a pack. The main detriment is to livestock though- that is why people were paid to kill them.
