Craigslsit FIND! FJ Cruiser Rims/Suspension

So, I was searching around cragislist looking for new FJ rims. Luckily, I came a cross a posting for these. 5 OEM FJ Cruiser Rims w/ tires

They are off a 2007 FJ and in nearly perfect condition. 4 of the tires are useless and need to be replaced, but the spare has never seen pavement, so I also got a brand new 265/70/17 Bridgstone Dueler HT too.

Has anyone used these tires? How are they? I don't need to replace my tires yet, but when I do, I have considered replacing them with the HT's to save a little bit of cash. Tire Rack seems to rate them pretty well, but I also want real world opinions. I think these were stock on some of the earlier 4th Gens, so any opinions would be great. I'm looking for opinions on this tire for 4 season driving and light off-road (meaning, I'm not going rock climbing in my T4R) Opinions welcome.
This is where it gets good, when I went to pick the wheels up, I got to talking to the guy and it turns out that he's replaced most of the suspension on his FJ so he threw these in for free.

To be perfectly honest, I'm still learning about the different suspension upgrades for the 4Runner, so I took them and figured I'd just ask the experts around here. They are the rear coils off the 2007 FJ. I had been hoping that they would make the rear a little stiffer & give me a slight rear lift so towing wouldn't cause the rear end to sag. I've got the Daystar budget boost (not installed yet) for the front and I'm wondering what this combination of the front budget boost and rear FJ Coils would be like.

I also got a good deal on getting the 4Runner tinted this weekend. 35% up front and 20% all around the rest, including a front sun strip for $200

HA! I almost jumped on those wheels too. But I need to get some new tires first. That was a great deal though. The rear springs should give you a stiffer ride and a little bit of a lift. Not sure if it will level it out once you get the leveling kit on. The rear is really easy to do so if you get them on and have to level it out with a rear spacer at least its easy to do.

OH, and I'm pretty sure I saw you driving down McKelvy yesterday right by Schnucks....you had your back window down I think.

Yep, that was most likely me. I was going to send you a message because I think I spotted you at Creve Coeur Park a couple weekends ago, parked in the middle parking lot by hole 18 on the disc golf course. I was on my way home and saw a lifted 4Runner and wanted to check it out, so I cut through the parking lot to take a look. I didn't stay too long because you never know how someone will react coming back to their vehicle and finding someone looking it over.
I've been meaning to install the budget boost and coils, but need to get the right tools or find a friend that has what I need to complete the install. I'm pretty confident in my ability to do the install, but just need the time and tools.

Yep. That was me. I take my dog down there quite a bit. I actually had Pur Performance install my front lift since I had a seized bolt. I cost about $200 for the install and alignment. No too bad. The rear spacer install was almost too easy. My friend and I did it in about 30 min. I think the front would be easy too with all the write ups posted on this site.

That's cool, PUR Performance did my tint job. Those guys are pretty good and gave me a good deal too. They originally quoted me higher, but I told them what a competitor would do it for and they matched their price.
So, do you have the tools to do the lift work, or are they your buddy's? I'd be happy to furnish a case of your favorite cold beverage if you wouldn't mind helping with my install some weekend...

Actually all it took for the rear was a floor jack, jack stands, the stock bottle jack and a ratchet. I was kind of surprised. I did buy an impact driver but we didn't have to use it. I go tit just in case we had some stubborn bolts. I might be able to help depending on when you are looking to put it on.

I actually don't have any of those tools yet, they are on the christmas list, but until then I'm in a holding pattern. I'm available almost any weekend, if you really wouldn't mind helping out, just let me know when you're free and I'll work around your schedule
